LECTIO DIVINA

It is a Benedictine Academy tradition to pray together each Friday during the Lenten Season.  As one sacred community, we walk in silence to the St. Walburga Monastery Chapel for an hour of Lectio Divina - holy contemplative reading.

It is a most wonderful time to shift our attention away from the distractions and busyness of life to God's loving presence.  It is a time when we can experience God's unconditional love for us and realize how precious we are in His eyes.

"Then from the cloud came a voice that said, `This is my Beloved Son, listen to Him."
